Pp (3),4-236, including 8 pages of . photo Illustrations. 8vo, white card covers. Young was born November 21, 1875 in Millsville, Pictou County Nova Scotia, the son of the village blacksmith. He attended Pictou Academy and Dalhousie University, graduating from the latter in 1903. He died on February 21, 1950 in Japan. "When in Canada he never tired of speaking of Koreans and the Korean Mission. When in Korea he gladly ly accepted any task assigned to him. When the door to Korea was closed to Canadian Presbyterians, he seized the work that was proffered — ministry to the Koreans in Japan. But wherever he went, he left the marks of zeal and diligence, dedication and love, that are still to be seen nearly thirty years after his ministry came to an end. He used to tell his children "When you get to Heaven, look for me among the Koreans". That he would be there, and that the Koreans whom he loved would also be there, he never doubted, and neither can anyone who traces the story of his life and witness." - p.12. Pp [i]-ix,(3),[1]-126,(6). 8vo, blue card covers. “Most of the established writers on diplomacy have done their work from the viewpoint of the great power, the leaderin world affairs.
