Small 8vo, pressed dark green cloth, blind-stamped lettering to both boards, advertisements to endpapers. First published as "The Farmer's almanack, for the year of our Lord 1824", the title was changed to "Belcher's Farmer's Almanack" in 1832. The founder of the Almanac was Clement Horton Belcher. He published the Almanac from 1824 until his death in 1869. After Belcher's death, the firm of McAlpine and Barnes continued the publication underthe founder's name until 1930. Includes lists of Light Houses (pp 190-269) , and approximately 30 pages of advertisements. Spine sunned, front inner hinge cracked, rear inner hinge broken, name, notes penned to interleaved blanks, else good to very good. 50.00
