The programme lists the name, rank, position, number and weight of all the players, along with the names of the officials, announcers, coaches, and bands. On the last page, the differences between the Canaadian and American rules are stated, andthe "The first half of the game will be played under Canadian rules with C anadian referees. The second half will be played under American rules with American referees." An article on the game was published in The Gazette in Montreal the following day (March 20th) - "Americans Take 'Coffee Bowl'; Whip Canadians, 18-0, Overseas." The article mentions that the Americans were"spurred by a crack professional [...] Sgt. Tommy Thompson, a former backf ielder with Philidelphia Eagles of the National Professional Football League..." and "aided by running interference allowed under American rules..."
