John Mockett Cramp (1796-1881) wasborn in England, July 25, 1796. He served as pastor in London, the Isle of Thanet and Hastings, Sussex. He took charge in 1844 of the Baptist college in Montreal, Canada. Later he became president of Acadia College, Nova Sco tia, in 1851, and retired in 1869 from that position. The 4 maps are : The World, as Known at the Foundation of Rome; The World, as Known at the Birthof Christ; The World, as Known at the Time of the Reformation; The World, , A.D. 1840. Spine sunned to brown, wear to spine ends, top of spine chipped and paper label to lower spine, hinges cracked, ffep and half title page detached, college library stamp, with a gift bookplate “From the Library ofRev.
