"Journalist's impressions from trips in the northern Canadian mainland and islands, accompanying scientists, doctors, R.C.M.P., etc. in 1955. Norman Wells, Aklavik, Resolute, Fort Simpson, Agricultural Research Station, Yellowknife mines, Churchill, Cornwallis Island, etc. and Thule in northwest Greenland are described.
