Pierre de Ronsard (1524-1585) was a French poet and "prince of poets" (as his own generation in France called him). Humbert Wolfe (1885-1940), was an Italian-born English poet, man of letters and civil servant. He was one of the most popular authors of the 1920s. A special edition of one hundred and fifty numbered copies of this book, printed on hand made paper and bound in quarter vellum, has been signed by Mr. Humbert Wolfe. This is number 79. [signature]. Slightly cocked, vellum browned and slightly soiled, cloth boards rubbed and slightly spotted, foxing/ soiling to front gutter, else good to very good. Signed by Humbert Wolfe . 90.00
