First Edition points present include a variant cover with the mouth of the fish closed, the earlier state three-line copyright page, rear text to dust jacket only lists four previous publications, although price-clipped there is a pencilled-in price of $2.95 to ffep suggesting a later state. Dr. Seuss's ability to create nonsense that makes great sense to both young and old readers is never more evident than in this young boy's dream ofcatching the strangest and most wonderful fish that just might live in McE lligot's Pool, or even in the oceans beyond. A scattering of small brown spots to the very inside edges of the boards, two tiny dents to the bottom edges, and the lightest of wear to the spine ends and corners (with corresponding wear to the dust jacket), else an exceptional copy in a price-clipped dust jacket. 600.00 Price:
