This collection of true stories of missionary work in Canada is directed toward United Church teen-agers to encourage them to work in the Church :"for Christ and for Canada." Of particular nautical interest is Chapter 5 entitled Sea Stories - East and West in which missionary vessels such as the Wm. Swan II, GladTidings, Messenger, Chalmers; Ryerson and the Thos. Crosby IV are mentione d. Emphasis is placed upon the work of the Thos. Crosby IV and its mission to people in remote areas along the British Columbia coast. Also noted are Captain Scott, Captain Oliver, and Captain Rev. Ray McColl. Previous owner's signature to front cover in pencil, ow very good. 10.00
