Now Richard Henderseon has accorded Philip Rhodes the book that he has long deserved. Part Oneof the book is a brief biography of Phil Rhodes that relates his early int erest in boat design and the subsequent experiences that led to his wide-ranging and prolific career. It is a fitting preamble to the design historiesand analyses that follow. In the 44 chapters of Part Two, Henderson discus ses more than 100 of the best-known and most representative Rhodes yacht designs -- from 7-foot dinghies to 140-foot luxury craft.
