Of local interest: Biography : Memoir of Mr. John Man, Missionary in Nova-Scotia , pp. 13-20. John Man was born in New York in 1743, became a Methodist preacher and after the American war moved to Shelburne, NS where he preached regularly. He later moved on to Liverpool and finally Newport, where he continued until his death. Foxed, some minor waterstaining to the edges, last page partially detached, else vg. 30.00
