Port. frontis. 4to, half calf, green cloth covered boards, triple in blind trim to the calf, five raised bands with six compartments, maroon leather title block with in blind titles to spine, all edges marbled. The Right Reverand Richard Watson (1737-1816) was Bishop of Landaff from 1782 to 1816. He was the great-great-great-grandfather to Reverand David Watson (1933-1984), a renowned British evangelical clergyman. Front hinge broken, long split along the front outer hinge from the top edge, calf, boards and allextremeties well worn, corners chipped, bookplate to front paste-down, ink stamp and name to ffep, sections of browning in the text to pp. 195-217, some offsetting from flowers left between pp.112-117, short tear to the fore-edge of p. 471, with the remaining leaves clean and bright. 100.00 Price:
