During the Hungry Thirties the scenic tower, the dance pavilion, the Pioneer's Museum and other attractions were built. It was Mr. Ross' idea tohave a Museum to display pioneer articles, and to give some idea of the gr im, hard life of the early settlers in that age when Nova Scotia made such wonderful strides in culture and industry. [...] In all, there may be seen from the tower seven counties, three on Prince Edward Island, one on Cape Breton, and three in Nova Scotia.” - from the Foreword by Clifford Rose. Includes a list of exhibits (numbered 1 to 474), along with a few photos and many advertisements. Rubbed, soiled and creased, else good only. 18.00
