Allison University (English Department), and the University of Victoria and UBC's English Language Institute (ESL). A world traveler, she has lived in Manila, San Francisco, Brighton, London, and Hong Kong. She and Dorothy Livesay were the first women members of the League of Canadian Poets in itsinception in 1966. Since then, she has given poetry readings in North Amer ica and Asia.
