A quasi-catechetical pamphlet, containing 164 questions and answers, beginning with the geographical and then becoming very specific, e.g.: Question 62 "Are East Indian immigrants still coming to British Guiana? Ans. Yes. Every year at least 4,000 arrive."; Question 63 "From what part of India do they come? Ans. From the city of Calcutta and the agricultural districts of Bengal."; Question 71 "Isnot twenty-four cents per day a very small wage? Ans. To us it seems small . But it is far more than they get in India : and an East Indian can live well on eight cents per day."; Question 148 "Whom did the Committee appoint?Ans. The Rev. John D. MacKay of Earltown, Nova Scotia, a graduate from Pin e Hill in 1896, and at the time of his appointment the pastor of Coburg Road Church, Halifax." Several of the Q&As refer to Rev. Ross himself.
