Hanson 6232, Kress 4993, Sabin 102199, O'Dea 144.

A detailed treatise in small type.

An Historical and Critical State of the British Fisheries.

According to WorldCat this is "Sometimes attributed to Alderman Jackson" while in another place WorldCat gives the author as the English jurist John Selden (1584 - 1654) of the "Grotius - Selden debate".

This copy lacks the first signature (A), the 4 leaves after the title-page, which constitute the preface [oddly enough one of the British Library's copies has the same fault (an overly fiery preface?)], otherwise tidy. It is priced accordingly at: 300.00
