Lois Mary Thierman (b. November 1, 1931, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan in rural Saskatchewan - d. November 7, 2012, Sackville, New Brunswick).
Later Lois MacLeod, Lois Thierman, graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, taught in the French Department of Acadia University, later wrote several books of local history. She was also the compiler the extremely helfpful index to Vernon Blair Rhodenizer's Canadian Literature in English. Personally she showed many kindnesses to this shop even once buying us a vacuum cleaner.
