In addition to the ships' lists, there are a large number of advertisements from companies up and down the East Coast, offering every service that a vessel would require from equipment and supplies to processing facilities and insurance. One ad of particular note uses an attractive double page chart from the Port Clyde Cold Storage and Fisheries Co. Also a few short articles including "The New Boston Fish Pier" and "Fishermen Lost in 1913". Top two-thirds of the title page missing, some foxing to front and rear endpapers, several pages with light smudging to margins, spine browned, head and tail worn and frayed, corners bumped, some soiling to cloth, else vg. 500.00
