The bulk of the volume d etails his archaeological reconnaissance in and around the Cholula region (presently located in the state of Puebla). It finishes with a brief accountof Bandelier's venture to Mitla (in Oaxaca). Spine publisher reads "Cupple s, Upham and Co.", while on the title page, it states "Cupples and Hurd". Spine ends nicked, some light fraying to extremities, two damp splotches near top edge of front board, some rubbing, inner hinges cracked, pp. 65-80 nearly detached, inked note to ffep, else vg. 400.00
