The founder of the Almanac was Clement Horton Belcher. He published theAlmanac from 1824 until his death in 1869. After Belcher's death, the firm of McAlpine and Barnes continued the publication under the founder's name until 1930. Includes list of Light Houses on the Coast of Nova Scotia; the Coast of New-Brunswick in the Bay of Fundy; Cape Race, Nfld.; Gulf and River St. Lawrence; and Strait of Belle Isle (pp 38-42).
