First published as "The Farmer's almanack, for the year of our Lord 1824", the title was changed to "Belcher's Farmer's Almanack" in 1832. The founder of the Almanac was Clement Horton Belcher. He publishedthe Almanac from 1824 until his death in 1869. After Belcher's death, the firm of McAlpine and Barnes continued the publication under the founder's name until 1930. Includes list of Light Houses on the Coasts of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (pp 162-177), and of ships and staff of The Navy (p. 236), and approximately 50 pages of advertisements. Lacking back cover and lastfew leaves, front cover attached at spine with tape, front cover very worn , chipped and with circular inkstamp and penned price, else good only. As is. 25.00
